These golden, crispy salmon croquettes are made with flaked Trident Alaska Salmon Burgers, fresh dill, green onions, and crunchy celery for a burst of flavor and texture. Bound with egg and seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper, the mixture is coated in panko breadcrumbs and deep-fried to perfection. Ingredients
4 Trident Alaska Salmon Burgers patties
1 egg
¼ cup finely chopped celery
¼ cup sliced green onions
2 teaspoons fresh dill
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup panko bread crumbs, plus ¼ cup for coating
Oil for frying
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix finely chopped Trident Alaska Salmon Burgers, egg, celery, green onion, dill, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1 cup bread crumbs.
Form the mixture into eight patties. Dust the patties with the remaining breadcrumbs.
Heat oil to a depth of approximately ¼-inch in a large skillet over medium heat to 350ºF. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove to paper towels to drain and serve with your favorite tartar dipping sauce. Enjoy!
